Tropical drinks. Island cocktails but please anything but Tiki. Join us for an afternoon and evening filled with a healthy dialogue about how we approach the cherished sugar cane and how it is presented.

The afternoon begins with two live podcast recordings diving into appreciation vs appropriation. In the end we all want to celebrate cultures and their creativity. This will be a space for the Chicago community to do just that! Every RSVP guest receives a complimentary cocktail! While there is a suggested donation of $10-$20 there should be no cost to good conversation.

Lemon will open to the public at 4pm with a Happy Hour pop up of Naniloa! The word for beautiful in Hawaiian. Jef Tate will bring his wealth of knowledge and create five custom drinks alongside Stevan the host of Balanced Hospitality. We'll have tasting tables and lots of more fun surprises. See you there!
