Nanaimo Food Hub’s Friday Farm Market Join us every Friday from 4–7 PM at Discover Montessori Farm School for the Nanaimo Food Hub’s Friday Farm Market. Back for its second season, this relaxed summer market features fresh vegetables, free-range eggs, local meats, flowers, artisan bread, and handcrafted goods—all grown or made in the Nanaimo region.
New this year is Nanaimo’s REKO Ring, a simple online pre-order system that connects you directly with local producers. Place your orders through the REKO Facebook group, then pick everything up in one stop at the market. It’s an easy and low-waste way to shop local.

You’ll also find produce grown by students at Discovery Montessori and crops from the Food Hub’s new farm plot. The land, generously provided by the school, is helping grow more local food and build community food security.
Whether you’re picking up a REKO order, shopping the stalls, or just enjoying the farm setting, the Friday Farm Market is a great way to support local food and connect with your community this summer.
