About this Event
NAMI Hawaii State Conference in Partnership with Mental Health America of Hawaii, is a conference for mental health and behavioral health professionals, healthcare providers, law enforcement, public safety professionals, community and faith leaders, family members and peers in recovery and anyone else who is interested in improving outcomes for individuals in crisis and fostering partnerships between law enforcement, mental health professionals and the community.
Registration costs $40 (with lunch), or $20 (no lunch).
We have FREE SCHOLARSHIPS for those who need financial assistance. Just go to tickets to see your options.

- Keynote Speaker is Kody Green, “Schizophrenic Hippie” a Mental Health Advocate, Author, Podcaster and Comedian
- MJR Mike Lambert, Director of State Department of Law Enforcement
- Dr. Michael Champion, MD, Senior Advisor for Mental Health, Governor’s Office
- Panel on Long Acting Injectables, with a Peer and Family Advocate and Dr. Preeti Jalli, PharmD
- Tim Hansen, LSCW, Hawaii County CIT founding member and clinical lead
- SGT Corbin Matsumoto lead for Honolulu CIT
- MHA of Hawaii Wellness Room and Activities
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Mental health and behavioral health professionals, policy makers, healthcare providers, law enforcement, public safety professionals, community and faith leaders, family members and peers in recovery and anyone else who is interested in improving outcomes for individuals in crisis and fostering partnerships between law enforcement, mental health professionals and the community.
WELLNESS ROOM:
Mental Health America will host an interactive wellness room, with calming activities and wellness practices that you can enjoy throughout the conference day. There will be crafts, mental health activities and more, free to all conference attendees. Activities and supplies are on a first come basis.
NEIGHBOR ISLAND FLIGHT SCHOLARSHIP :
Contact [email protected] if you are a neighbor islander who needs financial assistance to fly in to Honolulu. You must be a NAMI Hawaii member or a leader for your local community in financial need. Limited scholarships are available, courtesy of HSRHA.
