NAMI Family & Friends is a seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation, and NAMI resources. Seminar leaders have personal experience with mental health conditions in their families. Participants will also learn how to connect with local resources and other upcoming opportunities for education and support through NAMI Juneau. Our next Family & Friends Seminar will be held on Saturday, September 28th 1PM-3PM at 8711 Teal Street in the main floor conference room (this is in the Teal Street Center, the new building right next to the Glory Hall).
