About this Event
Join us at Nambour Hub: The Dementia Journey and the Carer’s Role, an informative and supportive session for carers. The dementia journey brings unique challenges and changes—this event offers insights, resources, and connection.
Well-known local presenters Lorrae and Vince O’Rourke, volunteer facilitators of the Dementia Network Sunshine Coast, will share their experiences and practical advice. Vince, author of I Wish I Were a Leaper, will discuss his personal journey caring for his wife after her young-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Hear real-life stories and expert perspectives
- Learn about local supports and resources
- Connect with other carers in an informal, supportive space
- Share your own experiences
