About this Event

Join us Friday, July 24th at 6:00 PM for the return of naked. open mic night, hosted by , featuring somatic offering by + musical offering by .

The theme of the night we'll be exploring is insecurity. The etymology of insecurity means to feel unsafe, or “not fully assured.” It comes from the the Latin word insecurus, and translates to “not free from care, doubt, or concern.”

How does insecurity show up? How do we release it? How do we change our relationship with insecurity to one more supportive of the version of we truly are? More importantly, who are you when you feel safe? Who are you when you feel assured? Who are you when you’re free from fear or doubt?

Join us in acknowledging, uprooting, and giving our former insecurities up as offering to a different embodiment of self — one more holistically aware of its innate briliance.

ALL art is welcome to be shared. THERE IS NO LIMIT ON WHAT CAN BE SHARED! Please just give us advance notice for pieces that may need extra accommodation, such as a video.

what is ?

there's no mic or stage, and ALL art is welcome.

those who enter are invited to be naked and free from the armor and masks we wear to navigate the world.

birthed in New Orleans in February 2018, naked. asks those in attendance:

if you could be naked, without judgment, how would you show up? what would you say? what would you share?
