Decades as an avid listener and vivid performer, Kuro Usagi ( @kuro_usagi_808 ) [Former Artist and DJ: "Revolution Boi"] has enriched the Anime culture with his influences from Progressive House, Trance, and Drum and Bass. It has made him notable for his uplifting compilations that have been recognized around the globe. As a traveling DJ, Kuro Usagi’s experiences with a diverse range of genres led to the development of a unique ability to evoke and capture the emotional state of mind of his listening audience. Sharing the subcultures of Japanese EDM, Anime, and Idol Culture, and has become a huge staple performer for the Anime Industry across the nation.
Hosted by KC's own DJ Amamiya, Naka Underground is a celebration of anime-inspired music and the otaku culture of Kansas City. Grab your favorite dancing clothes or cosplay, grab your friends, and get on the dance floor!
