Our Beginners Walking Group / Course is back again for 2025!Kick start your fitness journey in the New Year by Nailing the Trails with Abigail!
What is this?
A beginners / returners walking course for those who don’t quite feel ready to join a regular walking group, but want to get out to explore Lancashire countryside.
Lead by a qualified, knowledgeable Mountain Leader who is empathetic and supportive.
We start with flat (ish), short, easy-paced walks and progress to longer, hillier routes over the 5 weeks.
Personal service, with a regular, small group (8-15 people)
For individuals or couples who want to walk regularly and meet like-minded people.
When and Where?
• Saturdays 09:45 am – 12:00 midday
• Starting from Helmshore and Haslingden, Rossendale

The full 5-week course is £37, or select any 3 weeks for £24.
Well behaved, friendly dogs are welcome to attend.
Check out our basic kit list. The most essential item on there is a waterproof coat. Rossendale is often very wet and I will only cancel or postpone in extreme weather, when it would be deemed irresponsible to continue. If you have any queries about any items, please get in touch.
