NAIFA POET Luncheon Meeting (May 2026)

Join NAIFA Pineywoods of East Texas for a Luncheon Meeting at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler, Texas. We will be joined by State Representative, Jay Dean. Rep. Dean is the Chair of the House Insurance Committee for the 89th Texas Legislature (2025–2026).

Jay Dean has been the State Representative for House District 7 in East Texas since 2017, which now includes Gregg, Harrison, and Marion Counties. Previously, he was the Mayor of Longview for ten years and served on the City Council for five, during which Longview was recognized by Forbes Magazine for its business environment and economic growth.

A lifelong conservative, Jay advocates for smaller government, responsible budgeting, job creation, low taxes, stronger public education, and the protection of the right to life and the 2nd Amendment. He is also a successful small business owner and currently serves as General Manager for Thomas Oilfield Services. A Louisiana State University graduate, Jay lives in Longview with his wife, Pokie, and has three daughters, being actively involved in their church, St. Matthew's.

The cost to attend the luncheon is $30 per person.
