Enjoy a range of free activities this NAIDOC Week to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
? Join us in welcoming Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company as they bring the performance of Boodjar Kaatijin. Audiences will join Koorlbardi (Magpie), Weitj (Emu), Nyingarn (Echidna) and their koordah (friends) as they journey through Noongar Boodjar sharing stories of how the land was created.
? Fill your senses with the scent of Australian botanicals in a Bush Flower Essences workshop with Nikki Quartermaine. (numbers limited)
⚫ Get creative by crafting your beaded NAIDOC colours friendship band, make and spin your Aboriginal flag thaumatrope, and challenge yourself with our Nyoongar language Marine Animals matching game.
