Join Perth Bayswater Rugby Union Club as we celebrate NAIDOC Round with an afternoon of rugby, culture, community and family fun.
This special club day is an opportunity to come together, recognise and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while enjoying a fantastic afternoon of rugby.
The day's rugby action kicks off from 12 noon, with our Premier Grade Men taking the field at 3.45pm.
The NAIDOC Round Ceremony will commence at 3.20pm and will include a Welcome to Country delivered by Vaughn McGuire, who returns for a second year to help us mark this important occasion.
For our invited guests, sponsors and community representatives, the VIP hospitality area will open from 3.00pm and remain open throughout the Premier Grade match, with light refreshments provided.
There will be plenty happening for the whole family to enjoy, including:
🎨 Face painting with the wonderful Maneesha
🍦 Ice cream from Lady B and her famous frozen treats
🖍️ Colouring activities for the kids
🏉 Rugby action throughout the afternoon
🎟️ Raffle supporting club activities
👕 Jersey auction supporting Wungening Aboriginal Corporation
