NAIDOC 2023 North Metro TAFE

Join us at Midland TAFE for our NAIDOC celebrations, honouring the theme ‘For Our Elders’ by celebrating their achievements and championing Indigenous culture.

There will be plenty of activities during the event, which is free and open to everyone. Indulge in various native meats, jams, and teas, get your hands dirty in the art workshops, and celebrate the rich cultural legacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through dance and musical performances. There will also be a showcase of local talent in our marketplace, selling items by local and regional artists. Face painting, Dreamtime story reading, and craft workshops are also available for our younger attendees to enjoy.

This is an amazing opportunity to learn about Indigenous culture and honour the longest surviving culture in the world. Join us for this event as we pay our respect to the knowledge and counsel of our Indigenous Elders.
