Tired of the daily grind of the newsroom? Want to be your own boss? Then join NAHJ Central Florida for this free training session as we learn from Cecilia Figueroa, a local independent journalist with more than 20 years experience as a freelancer.
Cecilia is an award-winning Orlando-based bilingual media strategist, multimedia journalist and communications leader with two decades of experience shaping stories, brands, and community impact across Florida, Puerto Rico and international markets.
She has worked with news outlets like the Orlando Sentinel, La Prensa Orlando, Conexion Hispana USA and more. She was also a correspondent for News Is My Business in Orlando.
Cecilia is the founder of Twins Digital Media Group, where she leverages her lengthy career to help organizations elevate their visibility, strengthen their reputation and connect with diverse audiences.
We will be hosted by Spectrum News 13 in Downtown Orlando. For security reasons, tickets are on sale until Thursday, June 25, as the venue needs a headcount prior to the event.
Coffee and snacks will be provided. Parking is available at meters around the neighborhood and in garages around downtown.
