Join Wine Selectors as we partner with one of Newcastle’s iconic restaurants, Nagisa, to celebrate two decades of world-class modern Japanese cuisine.Chef Tetsuhiko Namba learned the traditions of Japanese food in Tokyo and travelled the world before applying the wisdom of his craft here, by the harbour in Newcastle. At his Honeysuckle restaurant he joined forces with sons Taiyo, Sommelier Yohei and Chef Chris Schofield to create a series of exceptional dishes.
This special wine dinner will be hosted by the very talented Nagisa team, and Selector Publisher, Paul Diamond, with a showcase of favourite Nagisa dishes expertly matched with a range of premium Australian wines from our Wine Selectors cellar.
The delectable, shared menu includes classics such as salmon carpaccio, beef tataki, pumpkin korokke, dengaku eggplant, chicken kara-age and pork belly.
