NABA Houston Presents: Refining the Resume, Interview, and Beyond
Intern recruiting season is approaching and preparation can make all the difference.
NABA Houston invites college students to Fall Days, an interactive career-readiness experience designed to equip students with the skills, insights, connections, and confidence needed to excel throughout the recruiting process.
Hosted at Texas Southern University, Fall Days goes beyond simply talking about career readiness. Students will have opportunities to practice, receive feedback, ask candid questions, and connect directly with Black business professionals who have successfully navigated the recruiting process and built careers across a variety of industries.
What To Expect:
📄 Resume Reviews — Receive practical feedback to strengthen your resume and better communicate your experience.
🎤 Speed Interviews — Practice interviewing with professionals and receive real-time coaching.
✅ Interview Preparation — Learn the do’s, don’ts, and often-unspoken expectations of the interview process.
👔 Professional Presence — Explore professional attire, etiquette, communication, and the behaviors that help create a strong first impression.
🤝 Networking & Connection — Meet NABA professionals, expand your network, and begin building relationships that can continue beyond Fall Days.
And because career development doesn't end when the event does, students will also learn how NABA can provide an ongoing community of professional development, mentorship, networking, and support.
