On october 9th Naamu will release their second album called ‘Tamazga’ collaborating with Aziz Ozouss.
‘Tamazgha’ is an exciting collaboration between Naamu and Moroccan multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Aziz Ozouss. In this record we explore the boundaries between jazz and the rich heritage of Southern Morocco. Recorded in the legendary Hiba studio in Casablanca, we’ve blended the rich musical traditions of Morocco, from the trance-like rhythms of gnawa to the melodic and poetic power of Amazigh music, with the adventurous spirit of jazz.
To celebrate the release of our second Naamu album ‘Tamazgha’, we’re going on tour through the Netherlands!
