We will be celebrating 3 days of Freedom Day- all Free & Open to the Public!!

***Thursday, June 18: Miss Juneteenth Pageant at the Killeen Arts & Activities Center at 6:30pm.


***Friday, June 19: Juneteenth Celebration & Picnic at Douse Community Center and the VFW 9191. We will be recreating June 19, 1865 in Galveston where the message was finally received in Texas. Then, we will celebrate as our ancestors did with food, folks and fun!! We encourage all to bring your lawn chairs, your tents, your tables to the Family Reunion Picnic! Festivities from 10am to 2pm.


***Saturday, June 20: Juneteenth Parade at 10am in Downtown Killeen.
