Join hosts Carole, Francine, and Lorri for a cozy afternoon of crafting and chatting! The table talk theme is art, crafts, and storytelling. Join your neighbours for a good conversation over Muskeg tea and Bannock (called ‘li galette’ in the Michif language). While sharing stories, learn to bead and create your own beautiful flower design. Everyone is welcome to learn about Métis crafts like floral beading and finger woven sashes.Carole is originally from Manitoba and a proud citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation. Francine is Métis-Cree from Treaty Six and Treaty Eight territory. Lorri's roots are Cree-Métis from Treaty One and Treaty Six territory.
