Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
This month’s programme is inspired by spirits and creatures of legend, including a mermaid, a water sprite, elves, a Greek God and a ghost. Music by Handel, Mozart, Gluck, Saint-Saëns and Gershwin.
Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website, www.trioparadis.com, is much appreciated but not essential.
