Claye’s interest in Deliverance Ministry began when he was a Curate in Bundaberg (2014-15) and was asked to talk with people who were searching for particular spiritual healing. He found that the real-life experiences of the people he saw challenged his theological training and understanding of how people can best be helped. The question became not what is it that deliverance ministry will save people from but rather where might deliverance ministry lead people to. Claye has been the Deliverance Ministry priest in our diocese since 2020.This event will be held ‘in person’ in the Cathedral, over YouTube and Zoom. Claye will introduce us to Deliverance Ministry in the sermon as part of Evensong.
From about 7.10pm we will join together in person in the Cathedral and via Zoom to share discussion with Claye over refreshments.
