Ragini Rainu is one of the celebrated mystic singers of India. Unquestionably brilliant, she stands as a beacon of the Sopori - Sufiana Gharana, hailing from the rich musical legacy of Kashmir. Under the tutelage of the Great Saint Musician, the legendary Santoor Virtuoso and Composer, Pandit Bhajan Sopori ji, she has honed her musical craft, blending classical gayaki with tayari and bhava, infusing her performances with unparalleled depth and emotion. 

Renowned for her effortless singing and mastery over structured Sufi ang, as well as the Ghazal and poetic Kafi genres, Ragini is equally at ease with the traditional genres as with the modern nuances and expressions captivating audiences worldwide. With her individualistic style and a rich repertoire of compositions from her Guru, she is the rightful heir to the legacy of Bhakti and Sufi music of India. Singing raw and robust, her exuberance and her inimitable voice brings to life the ecstatic expression of mysticism, each rendition drowning the audience in the richness of this tradition and sending it into raptures.

Crowned as a ‘Mystic Songstress’, Ragini has garnered numerous accolades including the prestigious ‘SaMaPa Yuva Ratan Samman’, ‘National Dogri Award’, ‘Sur Shree Award’, ‘Global Punjabi Society Award’, ‘Radio 92.7 Big FM Award’, etc. among others for her achievements in the field of music. She has also received the ‘Honour of Appreciation’ from Jeonjo Sori Music Committee (South Korea) and her name features in various Biographical-note Volumes of India and abroad.
