*A ceremony of spiritual nourishment for the new week*
About this Event

Join Temple of the Stranger as we gather for a Saturday night Havdala ceremony, creating a space of deep belonging with Kabbalistic ritual, ancestral wisdom, mystical song and chant. Led by Rav Jericho with sacred music by Shira Averbuch, accompanied by Akiva the Believer. Afterhang with Community Weaver Chloe Jacobs. Light snacks will be served.

What do you need to know in order to attend? Nothing! We'll explain everything. Our songs and rituals are easy to learn. Jewish, Jew-ish, and non-Jewish folks ages 18+ are welcome!

What's Havdala? An ancient Jewish ceremony to connect with Spirit, the ancestors, and your own truest self as you prepare for the new week.

What's Chant? Our sacred chant practice is a repeated singing of a sacred word or phrase which can induce a transformative or ecstatic spiritual experience.

Please bring your own water bottle to aid in The Great Turning.

This event will be filmed for a documentary. Participants will be asked to sign a media release, there will be a camera-free zone for those who do not wish to be filmed. Video and photos may be used by Temple of the Stranger and its partners for the film, marketing, and related purposes.
