About this Event
Keep in mind the ball could sell out, since more than half our seats already are sold! Check out the table map... and order your tickets now! There are still great seats available on the theater floor as well as two fabulous VIP balconies.
We welcome you to join The Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans as we present our 23rd Bal Masque, "Apollo Fairy Tales: Once Upon a Time," January 17, 2026, at the historic Carver Theater in New Orleans.
The ball will honor our reigning King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXII Jake Stout and Gia GiaVanni and culminate in the presentation of King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXIII Lance Walker-Schlosser and Monique Autin Breaux to preside over the remainder of the 2026 Mardi Gras season.
With an exciting venue and a rapidly growing Krewe, the ball promises to be fun for everyone as we present costumes inspired by fairy tales you know and love – with a distinctive Apollo twist.
You'll get to enjoy appearances from the Wizard of Oz, several Disney princesses, fabled characters, and, of course, queens and fairies! You're sure to be entertained as you venture from under the sea to an enchanted forest with Apollo twists along the way, such as the Prince and the Frog, La Petit Rouge,... and more.
We look forward to having you join us for an evening of food, fun and friends.
