Mystery in a Glass: The Art of Blind Tasting with Randy Hamilton

Hey there, wine enthusiasts and newbies alike! Get ready for an exciting wine journey like no other. Our Intro to the world of Blind Wine Tasting event is the ultimate test of your taste buds and analytical skills.

Get ready for a blend of knowledge and entertainment, all in one wine-filled package! Our event kicks off with a 30-minute introduction to the art and science of blind wine tasting, led by Randy Hamilton. Randy's not just any wine enthusiast; he's a Certified Specialist of Wine. He's the owner/operator of Vinsavio, a private in-home wine-tasting business based right here in Pensacola. Plus, he's a writer, photographer, and designer who has an undying passion for travel.

Here's the deal: you and your team, as few as one, as many as three, will face off against three mystery wines. Since this is geared towards beginner and intermediate wine aficionados, we're making it easier for you. Each bottle you'll be tasting comes with five wine information cards giving you some helpful clues as to the identity of that wine. We also will have charcuterie with selected cheeses to go well with the mysterious wines.

Once the sipping and guessing are done, it's time for the big reveal. We'll go over each wine and share how you should have reached your conclusions. And then we'll unveil the scores! The top three teams will walk away with prizes. This wine-filled adventure will last around 1.5 to 2 hours.
