A Live Staged Radio Drama
The Mysterious Old Radio Listening Society invites you to celebrate the Halloween season with a new audio adaptation of radio legend Wyllis Cooper’s discarded script for the 1939 film Son of Frankenstein, performed in the style of a vintage radio broadcast, complete with period commercials and live sound effects. Rounding out the evening is a rendition of the infamous 1940s program Inner Sanctum Mystery.

Mysterious Old Radio Listening Society is an “entertaining and creepy homage to an era gone by” (Cherry and Spoon) brought to life by veteran Twin Cities performers Shanan Custer, Joshua English Scrimshaw, Tim Uren and Eric Webster “using their voices to paint a picture so vivid that if you close your eyes you can see the action in your mind's eye.” (Stages of Minnesota).
