Mysteries near the Markets: Avondale MITL

Do you love mysteries and thrills?

The Ngaio Marsh Awards, in association with Auckland Libraries, invites booklovers to to a thrilling evening of criminally good conversation where five talented Auckland writers will discuss creating memorable characters and captivating plotlines, the importance of setting, and what drew each of them to tales of M**der, mystery, and mayhem.

Auckland lawyer and book awards judge Darise Bennington will chair a panel with detective turned crime writer and 2024 Ngaios finalist Cristian Kelly, educator and author Jeannie McLean, award-winning debut novelist Rachel Paris, and globetrotting IT consultant and debut crime writer Will Reid, for a lively discussion about the art and craft of telling compelling stories.
