Join us every second Thursday to connect with art through cocktails, conversations, and creativity. This month, discover the riveting tales behind the renowned robberies, perplexing forgeries, and thrilling heists that have punctuated American art history.

Learn from Laura Evans, a Distinguished Teaching Professor and the Director of the Art Museum Education Certificate at the University of North Texas. Evans has a special interest in art crime: thefts, vandalism, and forgeries. Evans studied art crime at the Association of Research into Crimes Against Art (Italy) and has a postgraduate degree in antiquities trafficking and art crime from the University of Glasgow (Scotland). She lectures about art crime around the world from Algeria to New Zealand. Evans is currently writing "The Atlas of Art Crime," which will be published in fall 2024. Following her lecture, she will participate in a Q&A. Seating for the talk will be first come, first served.
