17.15-19.15 – Led primary series
Petri is counting the traditional vinyasa system with Sanskrit asana names, breath, vinyasa numbers, drishtis (gazing points), bandhas (muscle and energy locks) and asana alignments.
19.15-20.15 – Workshop opening: Introduction into Ashtanga Yoga tradition and goals. Pranayama and meditation.

14:00-16.00 – Workshop: 3rd chapter (Vibhūti-Pāda) of Patanjali Yoga Sutras
The teachings of the siddhis, the yogic powers, which are gained through the practice of Patanjali’s Ashtanga system. Patanjali explores deeply into the human mind and its possibilities. How much we can sense the nature and which kind of mind state we will need to dive all the way to the source of the creation. This class will be partly a lecture and partly practice of concentration and meditation.

Petri will introduce a several self healing and strengthening techniques for preventing the injuries and healing the existing ones.

Petri Räisänen is internationally known and respected as one of ashtangayogans new generation of teachers. Petri started practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 1988 and began teaching in 1990. He is a devoted student student of his Guru Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and and was authorized to teach astangayoga in 2001 by Guruji. In 2004 Petri wrote ”Kraften bakom yoga” a book that today serves as a kind of guide or manual for many students in ashtangayoga. In 2017 he also launched the book ”Nadi Sodhana” which we all have been waiting for. Petris adjustments are gentle intuitive therapeutic and according to some almost magic from his previous job as a traditional Finnish healer and naturopath.
