Myofascial Release Workshop: Back & Lower Body

Myofascial release or self massage focuses on releasing tension and enhancing circulation held in the connective tissues that wrap, connect, and support our muscles. In this workshop we will use balls and other props to explore, release, and relax. The workshop will be in person and students will have access to all the props required. We hope you can join us.
Corie Altaffer is a Certified Pilates instructor, dance instructor, and licensed Franklin Method lower back fascia trainer in the Bay Area. She specializes in work that informs the mind-body through physical exploration. Her hope is that you come to the workshop curious, positive, and excited to change through movement and community.
