Course Description
Myofascial Release offers a solution for those who suffer from pain in the mid to upper back. Pain in this area is often the result of issues involving the thoracic spine, ribs, and diaphragm. This 4-hour live course will concentrate on the proper assessment and application of treatment techniques in order to successfully alleviate this pain.
Course Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be able to:
Palpate and identify any range of motion issues involving the ribs
Identify and assess any rib head dysfunction
Palpate and treat fascial restrictions in the diaphragm
Perform proper treatment techniques on the ribs and thoracic spine to alleviate pain and improve range of motion
