Welcome to the Inoculation Station with Mush Labs!

Join us as we explore the wonderful art and science of growing mushrooms! This beginner course will teach you in depth steps on how to inoculate a grain bag with mushroom Culture in the cubensis family. Whether you're a curious beginner or experienced in mushroom growth wanting a refresh on your skills, we welcome you to a fun time playing with mushrooms. You will also walk away with your mushroom bag creation and continue to enjoy the very rewarding journey of growing and getting to harvest. Plus joining a growing community of mush nerds to discuss interests, ask questions and share projects. This course will be guided by John who has 5+ years of experience with mycology. He is very knowledgeable and excited to share what he has learned over the years.

This is a hands-on workshop that includes materials and knowledge needed to inoculate and care for your mushroom ecosystem. We will cover:

• Building a grain bag with the correct substrates and sanitation needed for a successful growth.
• Inoculating that bag with a liquid culture of your choice. This workshop will focus on cubensis mushroom cultures and you will get to choose which culture you would like to inoculate your grain bag with.
• Proper after care instructions and time frames of the growing process
• What to look for if the grow is successful or experiencing contamination (trichoderma, etc.)
• How you can keep your bag as a mini mushroom ecosystem by continuing growing and harvesting in the grain bag. Also how to spawn your grain bag to bulk in a tub for a higher harvesting yield.
• Personalized and in depth knowledge. Q&A with your workshop instructor and a reference guide going over what was taught in the workshop. We want you to walk away with the confidence that your ready to grow at home.
