MYCHAL THREETS Storytime, Talk, and Meet & Greet

Join Elk Grove's ONLY indie bookstore at the affirming, welcoming Elk Grove United Methodist Church for an all-ages storytime with Mychal Threets and Lydia Millyon, an EGUSD graduate and picture book author, followed by an engaging conversation and Q&A. Children will be able to either stay with their grownups after the storytime or leave for supervised play with our Moms of Elk Grove volunteers in the church's Sunday School rooms. In addition, EG S.P.E.A.K.S. will offer a sensory room behind the sanctuary for families who need a break in a supportive environment.

After the talk, get a digital and Instax photo with Mychal by prior reservation only. All proceeds from the photos will support Amanda's Mini Library Project, which places diverse books in little free libraries around Sacramento County with a special focus on book deserts.
