My Yearly Tradition Visiting Revel Grove!!! Maybe My Last!!!

So, even this tradition is old enough to drink at this point! Again, I am planning to garb up for grub, games, and galavanting at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in September. This year on my birthday proper.
Although, this started 21 years ago as a casual birthday gathering with high school friends before I went off to college, over the years it has evolved into a general day for friends, family, and familiar faces to simply attend on the same day. Unfortunately, due to my life in general, and a number of changes within the way the MDRF has been organized, and managed, especially in the years since 2020, this may well be my last year I am attending the faire for certain. Over time, the costs, crowds, and ticketing complications make attending the faire a larger headache for me to justify each year.
For myself, and many others life as of late continues to be nothing short of unadulterated chaos, and struggles. As many of you may have noticed, I am posting this event significantly later than I have in past years. Still, I am hoping to attend MRDF at least a few days this year. I will be there Saturday, September 12th, and hopefully the full weekend of October 3 & 4.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AS MANY FRIENDS, MEET AS MANY NEW ONES, AND GET TO KNOW AS MANY ACQUAINTANCES AS I CAN WHILE I AM THERE!
THIS INCLUDES EVERYONE I INVITE 😁, EVERYONE MY FRIENDS INVITE 😆, AND ALL OF THE FRIENDS THAT FACEBOOK DOES NOT LET ME INVITE OR I MISS INVITING 😅.
As always, I do not have a real schedule for the day other than arriving to the festival grounds by cannon sound, and probably staying until close. I usually hit O'shucks for drink, and food first off, and then wander around. As I have the last few years, I plan have at least 1 copy of the board game Shields, my good friend Jordan Dillan created with me, and will probably try to play a few games of it at the Dragon Inn with anyone who may be interested.
Unfortunately, a few years ago the Red Robin in Westfield Annapolis Mall that some of us would go to after Faire to wind down before heading home has closed. Based on a very nice recommendation I got, and the fantastic food we enjoyed there the last few years, I am propose this place for after faire shenanigans, food, and wind down...
