About this Event

You've been carrying something. This night is for you.

My Story of Hope is not another concert. It's a live, immersive experience built around one truth: your story is not over.

Join award-winning baritone and music minister David C. Griffiths — 2009 ISSA Songwriter of the Year, Peabody Conservatory graduate, and 30-year ministry veteran — alongside an extraordinary lineup that now includes international recording artist Chris Willis, Stellar Award winner Brandon Camphor, Stellar Award-winning co-producer Phillip Carter, and acclaimed gospel tenor Duawne Starling, together with the Story of Hope Community Choir, world-class musicians, and six narrators for an evening that moves between original music, personal testimony, and transformational storytelling across six powerful acts.

This is also the official launch of the Hope Station Tour — a movement dedicated to bringing messages of hope, healing, and transformation to communities across the country. Silver Spring is where it begins, and you can be part of it from night one.

🎵 What Makes This Night Different

This isn't a show you watch — it's an experience you feel. The evening is structured as a six-act journey, each anchored by a real story of hope and carried by live music performed by world-class artists:

  • 20 songs — originals and arrangements spanning worship, gospel, and inspirational music
  • 6 narrated acts — real stories of struggle, breakthrough, and transformation told by community voices
  • Chris Willis — the voice behind David Guetta's global #1 hits, returning to his gospel roots for one unforgettable night
  • Brandon Camphor — 2025 Stellar Award winner, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir featured soloist, and Billboard-charting gospel artist
  • Phillip Carter — Stellar Award-winning gospel artist, co-producer, and founder of Hymns With Phillip Carter (300K+ followers)
  • Duawne Starling — acclaimed tenor who has performed alongside Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Fred Hammond
  • A live band featuring Edmond Charles (piano/MD), Parris Spivey (guitar), David Dyson (bass — credits include Meshell Ndegeocello, Lalah Hathaway, and George Duke), Wesley Watkins Jr. (drums), and Emily Yang-Cheung (cello)
  • The Praise & Worship Experience (PWE) vocal ensemble
  • The Story of Hope Community Choir — 19 voices strong
  • Additional featured artists including Ofie Ofuatey-Kodjoe, Monique Steele Griffiths, Carter Anderson, Ellen Quay, Maia Griffiths, and RefleXions
  • A father-daughter moment you won't forget

🙌 This Night Is For You If…
