My Plate for My Family supports nutrition education and obesity prevention efforts, and is based on recommendations from the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. It is targeted to parents and caregivers who are SNAP participants or eligible for SNAP, and
play a key role in planning, purchasing, and preparing food for their families. Topics include MyPlate Family Meals, How Much Food and Physical Activity is necessary for optimal health, Vegetables & Fruit, and Family Time Active Time.
My Plate for My Family lessons do not need to be completed in a specific sequence. Participants can attend one or all lessons as available.
