My Name Is - is a powerful, participatory community music project created to promote kindness, inclusion, and belonging through the shared experience of music. This special outdoor community performance brings together students, choir directors, song leaders, musicians, parents, and community members to stand up, be seen, and proudly say their name.Developed by composer Beth Bradfish, School of American Music instructor, and supported by music director Donna M. Mitchell, and the School of American Music, My Name Is addresses issues of bullying and exclusion with empathy and hope, using music as a bridge between generations and across communities.
