Sam Seiff (vocals) and Nick Sare (keys) recruited their Columbia pals Aidan Speckhard (drums), Ryan Daar (bass), and Stephen Park (guitar) to play a rooftop gig with them in 2023. The band draws inspiration from classic artists like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Fiona Apple, and Stevie Wonder, while keeping a finger on the pulse of the NYC neo-soul scene. (Our keyboard player, Nick, is a founding member of Melt the Band.) 2025 is going to be a big year for My Mom Is Here! The band will release singles all spring, tour in the summer, and debut an EP in the fall.
