About this Event
“Playfully strange, deeply funny, and unexpectedly tender.” (★★★★, The Quinntessential Review), David Lynch meets Lisa Frank in this hilarious, profound, and moving showcase of storytelling and character work – infused with 90s childhood nostalgia.
Emily wrote a totally normal solo show. Her show is NOT about [redacted] — how could it be? She has emetophobia, the extreme and debilitating fear of [redacted]. So she would never, ever write a show about that!
Watch Emily perform her show with zero interruptions from anxiety-producing characters, obsessive-compulsive rituals, or recovered memories. There definitely won’t be a visit from her childhood therapist, Dr. My Little Pony® – Emily stopped seeing her years ago! And there’s absolutely no vomit, don’t worry.
After a sold out Hollywood Fringe run and award-nominated Edinburgh Fringe run, where it was nominated for a BOP Emerging Artists award, My Little Phobia returns to ask: what happens when your greatest fear lives inside you?
$12 presale plus fees | $16 at the door plus fees
