Hudebník z britského Brightonu se proslavil jako busker, díky jeho hitu Let Her Go ho ale zná celý svět a z ulic evropských metropolí se rychle přesunul do slavných koncertních sálů. Skladba Let Her Go, která doputovala na číslo jedna v devatenácti zemích světa a překročila hranici dvou miliard přehrání na YouTube, je však pouze jednou písní z nekončícího katalogu třináctileté kariéry. Už 8. ledna totiž hudebník, který si získal srdce fanoušků svou laskavostí a autenticitou na podiu i mimo něj, vydává svou již třináctou desku Songs for the Drunk And Broken Hearted. Passenger, aka Mike Rosenberg, is a multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter from Brighton, England. Although still known for his busking, he made the journey from street corners to stadiums with 'Let Her Go', which reached number 1 in 19 countries and which has now notched more than two billion plays on YouTube. Yet ‘Let Her Go’ is just one song from a catalogue that extends across 12 albums in 13 years.
The last one is called Sometimes It's Something, Sometimes It's Nothing at All and all profits from the album will go to Shelter, a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessnes: "When I started out, I spent a lot of time busking around the UK and in Brighton where I live, which really opened my eyes to the number of people forced to sleep rough.
