BACKGROUND:

My name is Ingrid D. Johnson, and I am a multi-disciplinary Winnipeg artist. After spending over a decade sharing my poetry, spoken word, and original music as a singer-songwriter with various audiences, accompanied by my band, The Funky Fresh Crew, at events like The Winnipeg Fringe Festival, The Red River Exhibition, and musical showcases like Mondo.NYC, I decided to create my album “DREAMER” during a time of self-reflection and transformation during the pandemic.

Through “My Inter-Galactic Musical Dream,” I invite you to listen to and experience my album "DREAMER" interwoven with inspirational stories about facing and overcoming adversity.

It is Art - therapy in the midst of chaos and confusion.
