We're thrilled to welcome Gesine Bullock-Prado—New York Times bestselling author, pastry chef extraordinaire, and Food Network star—alongside the wonderfully talented author Ann Dávila Cardinal for a lively conversation about Gesine's mouthwatering new cookbook, My Harvest Kitchen: 100+ Recipes to Savor the Seasons.
This event is free and open to everyone (thanks to the Friends of the Stowe Free Library!), but grab your seats early—it's first come, first serve. Books from both authors will be available for purchase, so come ready to snag a signed copy!
About Gesine: You might know her from Food Network's Baked in Vermont or as a judge on Christmas Cookie Challenge, Beat Bobby Flay, and Cupcake Challenge. When she's not on TV, she's teaching the art of baking at Sugar Glider Kitchen, her dreamy baking school right here in Vermont. She's also the creator and cohost of the upcoming show Cookin' It Old School—and she's written six incredible books!
About Ann: This Nuyorican author and educator brings the thrills! Her YA horror novel Five Midnights snagged the 2020 International Latino Book Award and was a Bram Stoker Award finalist. Her latest, You've Awoken Her—a horror comedy that just dropped in June 2025—is already making waves. Ann teaches in University of San Francisco's brand-new MFA in Writing for Young Readers program and lives in Vermont with her husband in a charming house with a basement that's, well... let's just say it has character.
