My Girl The River plus support in Stage 2 at The Stables, Milton Keynes

Celebrate with Bedford's My Girl The River as they welcome their fourth album Manifest Good Things.
Described as a genre-blending collection of fine songwriting and hooks, it features Kris on vocals/guitar along with musicians dropping in organ, piano, trumpet, trombone, viola, drums, lap steel and more.
Performing on this night as a full band, expect to hear songs from the album and a few favourites from earlier releases. After a successful crowdfunder, Manifest Good Things brought in music friends such as George Marinelli (Bonnie Raitt), Jerry Dale McFadden (The Mavericks) and Ryan Robinson (Nick Heyward). Of course it's still a family affair with Joe on bass and Rue on harmonies.
Kris has said this album represents her best songwriting to date. She's very excited to have put a great band together to deliver an 'album experience'. My Girl The River have been heard on Radio 5 Live, Three Counties, Times Radio and have toured with Kim Richey, Suzanne Vega, to name a few. They have been selected as one of 11 bands performing at the Americana UK's 25th anniversary festival in Liverpool later this year.
