This interactive and educational concert is designed for young children, their families, and school communities, featuring talented musicians from Houston’s finest performing arts organizations, including the Houston Symphony, Apollo Chamber Players, and Mercury Chamber Orchestra.Tailored specifically for children from birth through 1st grade, this vibrant performance introduces little ones to the world of orchestral music in a fun and engaging way. Children will explore the sounds of different instruments and discover the magic of making music together.

The Prelude Music Foundation transforms the lives and enhances the education of children in Houston through the power of music. Utilizing the research-based music and movement curriculum Music Together®, they support the cognitive, academic, and musical development of PreK and Kindergarten age children during the most formative years of their lives.
