My Druthers + Gevaudan Dogs @ 1in12 Club, Bradford

“If you’re craving energetic shanties that honor the tradition without getting corny, hoist the sails for this one, it’s a stormer!”. That is what Shite N Onions had to say about My Druthers' debut album Coming Up 3s, released only last year.

These boys have trekked the breadth ad length of the US with various punk bands over many years, but they eventually found their sea legs in 2020 when they decided to tap into the sea shanty and folk traditions of the Atlantic and formed My Druthers in New London, Connecticut.

Now with several tours inder their belt across North America, Europe and East Asia, My Druthers bring a raucous yet harmonic new sound to both the folk and punk scenes.

Catch them in Bradford on Tuesday 16 June, where they will be joined on the night by Aire Valley punk rockers Gevaudan Dogs, themselves fast becoming a firm favourite around the local circuit with their refreshing take on a classic punk sound.
