The Oatmeal and AEPDX (Animate Everything Portland) presents the world premiere of My Dog: The Paradox, an animated short film based on Matthew Inman's beloved comic about his dog Rambo. The film is a celebration of the absurd, unconditional love between humans and their pets, equal parts hilarious and heartfelt. Following the screening, Inman will be joined on stage by Allie Brosh, creator of Hyperbole and a Half, for a candid conversation about creativity, comedy, the internet, and making horribly, hilarious things. Stick around afterward, both will be signing merch and drawing doodles at no extra cost, and every ticket includes a small gift to take home.Matthew Inman is the creator of The Oatmeal, one of the most popular webcomics in the world, and co-creator of Exploding Kittens, which has sold over 50 million games worldwide.
