Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish are outstanding songwriters and singers individually, who between them have worked with such diverse artists as Nick Cave, Bryan Ferry, The Brodsky Quartet, Nick Lowe, Steve Earle, Nils Lofgren, Ron Sexsmith, and Guy Clark, but together they create harmonious magic and are a formidable musical force.
Since coming togther in 2011, they have released 6 albums and won numerous awards in the UK, Scandinavia and N. America. Their songs have been covered by over 50 different artists and featured in various films and TV shows. Lou’s song, "No Matter What Tammy Said," was placed in the top 25 country songs of the 21st century by Country Music People magazine, while Michael’s song, "Riding The Range" was recorded by the late, great Townes Van Zandt.
The current My Darling Clementine live show is a trip through their extensive back catalog, including songs from their 2021 album, Country Darkness, a collection of Elvis Costello songs re-interpreted for duet, made in collaboration with the brilliant pianist and long time Costello sideman, Steve Nieve.

They will also be showcasing songs from their new solo albums, Michael's Nothing Can Hurt Me Anymore (April ’26) and Lou’s Adverse Camber (August ’26).

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
Doors open 30 minutes before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-381-1997.
