'Ballarat South Senior Citizens Club Inc', fund more events for community entertainment and enjoyment, than most organisations in the Redan, BALLARAT area.
They are a 'not for profit' organisation, run solely by volunteers.
If the need remains, they will continue providing enjoyable activities to the community.
The Clubs success relies solely on the public to partake!
The Club offers: Theatrical performances, Visual arts, Professional entertainment, Musicians, Line dancing, Ballroom dancing, Cards, Indoor bowls, Arts and crafts, Big screen TV, Subsidised movie & meal packages, Parties, Special event functions such as, Oaks day, AFL Grand Final Day... in naming some!
There are trips to professional Melbourne theatre performances, and the popular annual, Water Gardens' Christmas in July trip...but more Importantly they adamantly support Ballarats' very own, 'BLOC Musical Theatre' & Ballarat Lyric Theatre' by organising large group bookings..subsidised by the club!
The club continually gives back locally in using services available here.
The emphases of all this is solely based on providing Healthy Social-Interactions and the importance of what having a chat over a cup of tea can bring. (More valued than it sounds).
Loneliness is only an issue if you stay at home alone and not partake in what is made available to you!....

The 'My Australia', Art Exhibition Event, provides opportunity to partake in something we all can share in and perhaps remind us of what being Australian is truly about...
