Join us for a tour of the Grand Cochem Castle. Cochem is a small medieval town of Roman origin dominated by a famous castle and rich in history and traditions. But this lovely town is not only a picturesque destination perfect for a day trip: its many wineries and scenic surroundings make it a great base to explore the Moselle Valley and enjoy a vacation in nature.
Even if the Rhine River Valley is internationally famous as one of the most renowned German tourist destinations, the Moselle Valley is equally rich in hidden gems and picturesque locations suitable for a romantic getaway or an active family holiday. Cochem offers many trekking and sightseeing opportunities. After a guided tour of the famous castle, transfer over to the point where the Moselle river joins Rhine river.
Koblenz is a crossing point for the Mosel and Rhine river and is best known for its monument at Deutsches Eck or the "German Corner." A monument for unified Germany, Koblenz shows off some of the country's premier attractions from castles to riverfront promenades and regional Rhine-Moselle wine. This is one of the oldest towns in Germany with a storied medieval history entangled with the Order of the Teutonic Knights. Enjoy your time either riding the gondola up into the famous Fort overlooing the joining of two grand rivers, or simple a cold drinks where the rivers transport tourists and ferries throughout this wonderland.
