Mt. View High School Class of 1984, 40yr reunion, July 20th, 2024The ball is rolling forward with a 40 yr class reunion. No formal planning yet … if you want to make some plans, raise your hand.
Dave Turnbull has reserved McMenamins Old St. Francais School for July 20th, 2024. The reservation for the big space costs about $4,800, including light snacks and a few extras. We’ll set up a payment portal so you can contribute. Some have already contacted Dave and pitched in. If 50 people pitch in to cover the total rental and light snacks cost, it'll cost about $100 per person. No Host bar. If somebody wants to organize a dinner or something else…. Brunch, a day in the park with families, a tour of Mt. View …. I also saw a request for a memorial table; it would also be appreciated if somebody wanted to take that on.
Wendy (Whitchurch) Smith has reserved The Canteen at Campfire Hotel for Friday, July 19th. There is no rental cost for the Canteen, just have to buy beverages and food. She has also set up a special rate if you’d like to stay at the Campfire Hotel for the weekend.
Moving Forward: We have a few “I’m In” hand raises. I’ll add them here as more hands are raised. Comment “I’m in” and we’ll keep a head count.
-We could also pay for a DJ to play all the 80's greats.
- Probably be some decoration cost.
I'm sure we all would love other classes or Bend High Class of 84 to join us.
