🎠Edinburgh prepares to welcome a show that has conquered Europe. The Grand Council of Fascism meets to discuss Mussolini's dismissal, while the Duce, locked in his study, retraces his journey from socialist journalist to supreme leader. An extraordinary story that inspired Hitler's rise and dragged a self-proclaimed genius to total defeat, becoming a ridiculous clown in the world's eyes.
Winner of "Best Solo Show" at Avignon Off 2017, this theatrical portrait reveals the authoritarianism and determination of a leader, but also his vulnerability and profound humanity in his moment of downfall. Tom Corradini delivers a masterful performance that touches on themes of burning relevance in a Europe where the logic of war once again prevails.
